We use plastic waste to make insulation products for warm and safe shelters, and provide work opportunities for displaced people.

Our mission is to help displaced people overcome harsh winter conditions.
3.6million
Syrian refugees are currently living in Turkey, and millions more seek refuge in temporary shelters across the Middle East.
Planned and improvised shelters lack long-term provisions for
cold climate conditions.
Current approaches to winterization assistance relies heavily on distribution of blankets, stoves and fuel. This increases the living costs of families, incurs health risks and negatively impacts their environment.
Waste for Warmth is dedicated to change shelter winterisation aid by enabling people to turn local plastic waste into solutions for warmth and security.
